Exercise makes us fat? This is a new one.

Of all the excuses I’ve read and heard, this takes the proverbial cake. Exercise makes us fat!
The gist of the article (http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1914857-1,00.html)
is that exercise makes people hungry then pig out on muffins, pizza, cheeseburgers, etc. So, exercise is futile.
Puh-LEEEEZE!!! Lack of self-control and proper eating habits are making people fat. Let’s get back to responsibility here, folks.
Cut down on carbs, fats, sodium, sugars and eat more low-carb foods, low carb/starch vegetables, drink more water (coffee and decaf and low-caffeine teas) and you’ll see more results.
I lost 41 pounds in 2007 and have kept it off (see my article http://www.edgeunitedstates.com/index.php?ch=health_fitness&sc=fitness&sc2=news&sc3=&id=84766) by eating a more low carb diet and walking. Cutting down fats, sugars, sodium, starches and carbohydrates really helps! Don’t cut anything out, because you’ll gorge yourself after awhile. Instead, use fast food as a treat or that slice of cheesecake as a once a year celebration
